The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 91632 is a 3/4-inch zinc watertight conduit hub designed to secure rigid or IMC conduit to a load center or other metal enclosure where a watertight joint is required at knockouts or slip-fit holes. The hub features a flame-retardant Lexan insulated throat that protects conductors from abrasion at the entry point. An oversize locknut provides vibration-proof installation and positive grounding continuity. Rated for both indoor and outdoor use, the 91632 meets rain, oil, and dust-tight requirements, making it suitable for wet and damp location installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This conduit hub is used in residential and commercial electrical installations wherever rigid metal conduit or IMC must terminate at a load center, panelboard, or metal enclosure requiring a sealed, watertight connection. Common applications include outdoor service entrance panels, industrial control enclosures, and any installation where moisture intrusion at the conduit entry point must be prevented. The package contains 10 hubs per unit, making it practical for panel installations requiring multiple conduit entries.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch rigid metal conduit or IMC terminating at load centers, panelboards, or metal enclosures requiring a watertight knockout or slip-fit connection.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit terminations and equipment grounding. De-energize the panel or enclosure completely before beginning any conduit hub installation. Thread the hub onto the conduit end, insert through the knockout or slip-fit hole, and tighten the locknut firmly to establish a secure mechanical and grounding connection. Do not overtighten to the point of deforming the enclosure wall or cracking the insulated throat.
