The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 91332 is a rigid steel reducing bushing designed to transition a 1-inch conduit knockout or fitting down to a 3/4-inch conduit entry point. This type of bushing is a standard component in rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) installations where different conduit sizes must be joined or terminated at enclosures, panels, and junction boxes. Each unit ships in a polybag, and this listing includes a package quantity of 20 pieces. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This reducing bushing is used in commercial and residential electrical installations where 1-inch knockouts need to be reduced to accept 3/4-inch conduit or fittings. It is commonly installed at load centers, pull boxes, gutters, and enclosures where mixed conduit sizes are present on the same panel or raceway system. The steel construction provides the mechanical strength and grounding continuity expected in rigid conduit systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 1-inch to 3/4-inch rigid steel conduit applications in residential and commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lockout/tagout the panel or enclosure before installing or adjusting conduit fittings. Hand-tighten the bushing into the knockout first to confirm thread engagement, then use appropriate conduit tools to secure. Inspect threads for damage before installation to ensure proper mechanical and electrical continuity.
