The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 90513 is a 1-inch clamp type connector designed to terminate non-metallic sheathed cable and service entrance cable to a knockout opening in a dry location box or enclosure. Constructed from die cast zinc, it features a twin screw clamping mechanism that secures the cable jacket firmly without damaging the conductors inside. This connector is a standard trade component used by electricians during panel work, junction box installations, and service entrance terminations in residential and light commercial applications.
This connector is suited for dry location installations where non-metallic sheathed cable or service entrance cable must be terminated at a metal or plastic enclosure knockout. The twin screw design provides positive cable retention and is compatible with a wide range of cable sizes, making it a versatile choice for rough-in wiring, panel feeders, and service entrance work in residential construction and retrofit projects.
Compatible with service entrance cable sizes 6-3, 4-3, 4-2, and 2-2, and non-metallic sheathed cable sizes 12-3, 12-4, 10-3, 10-4, 8-3, 8-2, 6-2, and 4-2. Designed for use in dry location boxes and enclosures with 1-inch knockouts.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for cable terminations at enclosures. De-energize all circuits and verify the absence of voltage before beginning work. Insert the connector into the knockout, secure the locknut, then tighten both screws evenly onto the cable jacket to achieve a firm mechanical hold without crushing the cable.
