The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 90292 is a 3/4 inch, 90-degree compression-type connector designed for use with Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT). It allows a licensed electrician to terminate EMT conduit to an unthreaded knockout at a right-angle approach, making it the correct choice when a straight connector will not fit the panel or enclosure layout. Constructed from die cast zinc, this fitting provides a solid, conductive connection between conduit and enclosure. Each package contains 10 connectors and ships in a UPC poly bag. The compression design eliminates the need for set screws and produces a secure, rain-tight-style mechanical connection at the knockout.
This connector is suited to residential and light commercial electrical installations where EMT conduit must enter a panel, junction box, or enclosure from a perpendicular approach. Common applications include service panels, sub-panels, and enclosures mounted flush against walls or in confined spaces where a 90-degree entry is required. Electricians working in both new construction and retrofit scenarios will find this fitting useful when conduit runs parallel to the mounting surface of the enclosure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for use with standard 3/4 inch EMT conduit and unthreaded knockouts on electrical enclosures and panels.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the panel or enclosure before installing or modifying conduit connections. Compression fittings should be tightened firmly by hand and then with an appropriate wrench to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical bond at the knockout. Avoid over-tightening, which can crack the die cast zinc body.
