The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 64007 is a 3/4-inch galvanized rigid conduit coupling used to join two lengths of threaded rigid conduit or IMC (Intermediate Metal Conduit). The fitting is fabricated from galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance in exposed and damp-location conduit runs. It is UL Listed, meeting the safety and performance requirements expected for metallic conduit fittings in commercial and industrial electrical installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors use this coupling when extending or connecting rigid metallic conduit runs in new construction, retrofit, and service-upgrade work.
This coupling is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical systems wherever 3/4-inch threaded rigid steel conduit (RSC) or 3/4-inch IMC is used. Typical applications include exposed conduit runs in mechanical rooms, service entrances, outdoor feeder runs, and panel feeds where a secure, threaded mechanical connection between two conduit segments is required. Each package contains 20 couplings, making this unit suitable for larger projects or stocking the service van.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch threaded rigid steel conduit (RSC) and 3/4-inch Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) in standard threaded conduit wiring systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 344 (Rigid Metal Conduit) or Article 342 (Intermediate Metal Conduit). De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before beginning work. Thread the coupling onto both conduit ends by hand first, then tighten with a conduit wrench to achieve full thread engagement. Do not over-tighten to the point of distorting the fitting or stripping threads.
