The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 61930 is a 3-inch conduit locknut used to secure threaded conduit or connectors to a knockout in an electrical enclosure. It threads onto the conduit fitting from the inside of the box, clamping the connector firmly against the enclosure wall to maintain a secure, low-resistance mechanical connection. This locknut is a standard hardware item found in commercial and residential electrical work wherever rigid or IMC conduit terminates at a panel, junction box, or enclosure. Electricians reach for this part during rough-in and finish electrical installation on conduit runs requiring a 3-inch fitting.
The 61930 locknut is suited for use with 3-inch threaded conduit and conduit connectors at knockout entry points on electrical enclosures, panels, and junction boxes. It ships in a 10-piece poly bag, making it practical to stock for multi-run conduit jobs or service calls where several terminations are needed in a single visit. Applicable in both new construction and retrofit electrical work where 3-inch conduit entries are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard hardware fit for 3-inch threaded conduit systems and compatible connectors used at knockout entries on electrical enclosures and panels.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit terminations. De-energize the panel or enclosure before beginning work on any conduit entry point. Thread the locknut onto the conduit connector from inside the enclosure and tighten firmly using a locknut wrench or hammer-and-punch method to ensure a solid mechanical and electrical bond. Do not overtighten to the point of distorting the enclosure wall or damaging the connector threads.
