The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 58905 is a 1/2 inch threaded oval conduit body, Type LR configuration, designed for use in rigid metal conduit and IMC raceway systems. Constructed from copper-free die cast aluminum, it ships with a cover and gasket assembled. Electricians install this fitting where two rigid or IMC conduit runs must be joined and interior access to the raceway is required for wire pulling, maintenance, splicing, or additions as permitted by the NEC. UL and CSA listed for code-compliant installations.
