This clamp-type cap fits rigid, intermediate (IMC), and thin-wall (EMT) conduit, giving electricians a single solution across multiple conduit types. This service entrance cap is used at the weatherhead termination point where service conductors enter overhead from the utility drop. It is appropriate for rigid metal conduit, IMC, and EMT in 2-inch trade size. The clamp-style attachment secures the cap to the conduit without requiring threading, simplifying installation at the service head location. The multiple knockout hole sizes allow routing of service conductors of varying gauges through the cap body.

Secure the clamp fasteners firmly to prevent movement under wind or thermal cycling without over-tightening the conduit fitting.
