The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 27527 is a 3/4-inch plastic insulating bushing designed to protect wire insulation from abrasion at conduit ends. Made from flame-retardant thermoplastic rated to 105 degrees C, this bushing installs at the end of a conduit fitting or connector to prevent sharp metal edges from cutting or wearing through wire jackets. Each pack contains four bushings, making it a practical buy for electrical rough-in work. Electricians use these on both new construction and retrofit wiring jobs wherever conduit terminates at a junction box, panel, or enclosure.
This bushing fits 3/4-inch trade-size conduit and is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations. It is a common component in branch-circuit wiring, service entrance work, and equipment hookups where conduit ends must be protected before conductors are pulled. The thermoplastic construction holds up to typical installation environments and meets code requirements for insulating bushings at conduit terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement insulating bushing for 3/4-inch trade-size conduit terminations in standard residential and commercial electrical installations.
Insulating bushings are installed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit terminations. Always de-energize the circuit and verify with a meter before pulling conductors through the conduit. Seat the bushing firmly into the conduit end or fitting before fishing wire to ensure it stays in place during the pull. No special tools are required for installation.
