The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 26211 is a one-hole strap designed to secure and support BX cable and flexible metallic conduit (FMC) along walls, ceilings, joists, and framing members. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, it resists corrosion in typical interior electrical installations. Each strap has a 0.475-inch inner diameter, sized to fit 3/8-inch flexible metallic conduit. The pack includes 10 straps. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install these during rough-in or finish electrical work wherever FMC or BX requires support per NEC spacing requirements.
These straps are used in residential and light commercial electrical installations to anchor flexible metallic conduit runs to structural members. Common applications include securing BX cable drops to outlet boxes, supporting short FMC whips at HVAC equipment connections, and anchoring conduit along stud bays or ceiling joists. The single-hole mounting design allows fast installation with one fastener per strap, keeping conduit tight against the mounting surface without restricting the cable.
Designed for use with 3/8-inch BX cable and flexible metallic conduit (FMC) with a 0.475-inch inner diameter fit.
Licensed electricians install one-hole straps during conduit rough-in. Power down all circuits in the work area before securing conduit near existing wiring. Fasten each strap to a solid structural member using an appropriate screw or nail; do not over-drive fasteners in a way that deforms the strap and pinches the conduit. Follow NEC Article 356 or the applicable local code for maximum conduit support spacing.
