The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 26165 is a 2-hole electrical metallic tubing (EMT) strap designed to secure and support EMT conduit runs in commercial and residential electrical installations. Supplied as a 2-pack, each strap is formed from heavy-gauge plated steel for durability and load-bearing performance. The snap-on design speeds up installation and eliminates the need for additional fastening hardware during initial placement. Each strap is marked with trade sizes for quick field identification. This fitting is intended for use where the National Electrical Code (NEC) requires positive conduit support, particularly in ceiling-mount applications where higher load-bearing capacity is needed.
This strap is used in standard EMT conduit installations across residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. It is especially suited for overhead runs where conduit must be secured to joists, beams, or structural ceilings. Electricians reach for this strap when NEC-compliant, high-load support is required along horizontal ceiling runs. The 2-pack format is practical for installations requiring multiple support points at standard NEC-mandated spacing intervals.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for 1-1/2 inch trade size EMT conduit snap-on strap applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 358 requirements for EMT support and securing. Power down all circuits in the work area before beginning conduit work. Fasten the strap securely to structural members using appropriate fasteners for the substrate; do not rely on the snap-on feature alone for final support in ceiling applications. Verify conduit support spacing meets local AHJ and NEC requirements before closing the installation.
