The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 26153 is a one-hole, snap-on style electrical metallic tubing (EMT) strap designed to secure 1-inch EMT conduit to framing, joists, studs, and other structural surfaces. Constructed from zinc-plated steel, this strap resists corrosion and provides a firm, low-profile hold. Each package contains 4 straps, and the package quantity is 20 per selling unit. Electricians use these straps during rough-in and finish conduit work to meet NEC support-spacing requirements for EMT installations in residential and commercial applications.
This strap is suited for use wherever 1-inch EMT conduit must be mechanically supported along a run. Common install scenarios include securing horizontal conduit runs across wood or metal framing, vertical drops along walls, and conduit transitions near panels and junction boxes. The snap-on design allows for fast, tool-free attachment to the conduit before the strap is fastened to the surface, speeding up repetitive conduit-support tasks on larger jobs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard supply item compatible with 1-inch EMT conduit in residential and commercial electrical conduit support applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician. Shut off power to any circuits in the immediate work area before working near existing wiring. Fasten the strap securely to the structural surface using an appropriate screw or nail through the single mounting hole. Follow NEC Article 358 support-spacing requirements for EMT conduit runs.
