The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 23210 is a 1/2 inch die cast zinc EMT set screw connector designed to secure and terminate electrical metallic tubing to a knockout in a concrete tight enclosure or dry location. Sold in a 5-pack, this connector uses a set screw fastening method for a reliable mechanical connection between the conduit and the box. The die cast zinc construction provides solid corrosion resistance suitable for concrete tight rated installations. Listed to both UL and CSA standards, the 23210 is appropriate for use in commercial and residential electrical work wherever code-compliant EMT termination is required.
This connector is intended for use with 1/2 inch EMT conduit systems in concrete tight boxes or dry location enclosures. Typical applications include branch circuit wiring, panel feeders, and general electrical rough-in work in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The concrete tight rating makes it suitable for installations requiring a higher degree of protection against moisture ingress at the conduit termination point. Each pack contains 5 connectors, making it practical for multi-circuit rough-in jobs.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing (EMT) and compatible knockout openings in concrete tight boxes or enclosures in dry locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and verify the absence of voltage before beginning conduit termination work. Use an appropriately sized screwdriver or hex key to tighten the set screw firmly against the conduit — do not overtighten to the point of deforming the tubing. Ensure the connector is fully seated in the knockout before tightening the locknut on the enclosure side.
