The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 2315 is a 1-1/2 inch EMT compression connector designed to secure and terminate electrical metallic tubing at a knockout opening in a concrete-tight enclosure or damp location. Constructed from die cast zinc, this connector forms a rain-tight and concrete-tight seal without the need for locknuts on the tubing side. It is rated for use in wet and damp environments, making it a reliable choice for industrial, commercial, and residential conduit runs where moisture ingress is a concern. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of code-compliant raceway systems.
This connector is suited for EMT conduit installations in locations subject to moisture, including outdoor panels, utility enclosures, concrete walls, and damp service areas. It arrives in a package of 5 units, making it practical for job-site use where multiple terminations are required in a single pull. The compression-style attachment eliminates set screws, providing a more consistent and secure connection at each knockout entry point.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 1-1/2 inch EMT conduit systems terminating into concrete-tight boxes or enclosures in damp or wet locations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for raceway systems in damp or wet locations. De-energize the circuit and verify the panel or enclosure is properly de-energized before beginning conduit termination work. The compression nut should be tightened by hand first, then snugged with an appropriate wrench to achieve a watertight seal without over-torquing the die cast body. Inspect the knockout opening for sharp edges that could damage the conduit before seating the connector.
