The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 22210 is a 1/2 inch EMT compression connector designed to secure electrical metallic tubing to enclosures, junction boxes, and conduit bodies in both wet and concrete-encased installations. Constructed from die cast zinc, this connector delivers a rain-tight and concrete-tight seal that meets the demands of exposed and embedded conduit runs. Each package contains 5 connectors, making it practical for multi-connection roughed-in work. Licensed electricians and experienced installers use this fitting where code requires a secure, weatherproof mechanical connection at the box knockout.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where 1/2 inch EMT must terminate at an enclosure in damp or wet locations, including exterior walls, mechanical rooms, utility spaces, and slab or concrete-form applications. The compression design eliminates the need for set screws and provides a uniform, consistent bite around the tubing for a secure fit. It is sold in a 5-pack configuration, with a package quantity of 20 packs per master carton.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard trade fitting compatible with 1/2 inch EMT conduit systems in residential and commercial electrical applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and verify power is off before making any conduit connections at the enclosure. Slide the compression nut onto the EMT before inserting the tubing into the connector body, then tighten the nut by hand and snug with a wrench — do not overtighten die cast fittings. For concrete-encased applications, ensure the fitting is fully sealed before pour.
