The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 21580 is a clamp-type duplex connector designed for securing flexible conduit through a knockout opening. It ships as a 2-pack and fits a 3/8 inch flexible conduit into a 1/2 inch knockout. The clamp-style design holds the conduit firmly in place without requiring separate locknuts in most applications. Electricians use this fitting when terminating flexible metal conduit (FMC) or similar flexible raceway at junction boxes, panels, or enclosures. It is a common consumable on both residential and light commercial rough-in work.
This connector is suited for installations where flexible conduit must terminate at a standard 1/2 inch knockout on an electrical enclosure. Typical applications include equipment connections, motor terminations, and fixture drops where rigid conduit transitions to flexible raceway. The duplex clamp design allows for fast field installation, making it a practical choice for high-volume rough-in scenarios where speed and reliability both matter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for standard 1/2 inch knockout enclosures accepting 3/8 inch flexible conduit terminations in residential and light commercial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify the panel or enclosure is powered down before beginning any conduit termination work. Insert the flexible conduit through the connector body, tighten the clamp screw to secure the conduit, then seat the connector into the knockout and tighten the locknut if required. Do not over-tighten the clamp, as this can damage the conduit jacket.
