The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 20512 is a 3/4 inch die cast zinc clamp type connector sold in a 5-pack. It uses a twin-screw clamping mechanism to secure Type SE or Type NM cable at the entry point of a box or enclosure. The die cast zinc construction provides solid mechanical grip and corrosion resistance in standard residential wiring environments. This connector is UL and CSA approved, meeting the certification requirements expected for code-compliant electrical installations. Licensed electricians and experienced DIYers install these during rough-in and service work where cable termination at panels, junction boxes, or load centers is required.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical applications where Type SE (service entrance) cable or Type NM (non-metallic sheathed) cable must be anchored to a metal box or enclosure. The twin-screw design provides a secure, vibration-resistant hold on the cable jacket. The 3/4 inch trade size fits standard knockouts found on most residential panels, junction boxes, and subpanels. The connectors are packaged in a UPC polybag, making jobsite handling straightforward.
Designed for use with Type SE and Type NM cable terminated to metal boxes or enclosures with a standard 3/4 inch knockout.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify with a meter before beginning work at any panel or enclosure. Insert the connector body through the knockout, secure the locknut, then tighten the twin screws against the cable jacket until the cable is firmly held without damaging the insulation. Do not overtighten the clamping screws, as excess force can compromise the cable jacket.
