It is rated for indoor and outdoor use and provides protection against rain, oil, and dust. The hub features a flame-retardant Lexan insulated throat that protects conductors from abrasion at the point of entry. An oversize locknut design ensures a vibration-proof installation with positive grounding continuity. Electricians and maintenance technicians install this hub wherever a watertight joint is required at a knockout or slip-fit hole.
