The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 14405 is a 0.5-inch corner pull elbow designed for use with Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) in dry location conduit installations. Constructed from die cast zinc with a set screw connection, this fitting is built to facilitate conductor pulling through sharp bends in an EMT run. The removable cover provides open access to the raceway interior, allowing wire pulling to proceed without obstruction at the bend point. It is rated for use with thinwall conduit and carries both UL and CSA listings. Electricians use this fitting where conduit routing requires a 90-degree directional change and accessible wire pulling is a priority.
This corner pull elbow is suited for commercial and residential electrical installations where EMT conduit runs must navigate tight corners. The accessible cover design is especially useful in retrofit and service work, where pulling conductors through a sharp bend without a pull point would otherwise require significantly more labor. Sold in packages of 15 units, this fitting is a standard stocking item for electrical contractors working with 0.5-inch EMT systems in dry locations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 0.5-inch Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) thinwall conduit systems in dry location applications.
Installation of EMT fittings must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify the absence of voltage before beginning any conduit work. Tighten set screws with the appropriate screwdriver or nut driver to secure the fitting to the conduit; do not overtighten to the point of deforming the tubing. The removable cover must be securely replaced after conductor pulling is complete before the installation is considered finished.
