The HALEX/SCOTT FETZER 12320 is a 2-inch Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) set screw type connector rated for concrete tight and dry location installations. It is made from die cast zinc and is used to secure and terminate EMT conduit to a knockout opening in a concrete tight box or enclosure. This connector is a standard component in commercial and residential electrical rough-in work, installed by licensed electricians during conduit runs to panel boxes, junction boxes, and enclosures. The package includes 4 connectors and the assembly weighs 1.88 pounds.
This connector is suited for applications where EMT must be terminated at a box knockout in a concrete tight or dry location environment. It is commonly used in new construction, renovation, and panel work where EMT conduit systems are the specified raceway. The set screw design allows for a secure mechanical connection without the need for specialized tools beyond a standard screwdriver or nut driver. Its concrete tight rating makes it appropriate for installations where moisture or debris intrusion at the connection point must be controlled.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for use with 2-inch EMT conduit systems terminating at concrete tight or standard dry-location electrical enclosures and boxes with compatible knockout sizes.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits in the affected enclosure before beginning conduit termination work. Insert the connector through the knockout, secure the locknut on the box interior, then tighten the set screw against the conduit to complete the mechanical connection. Do not overtighten the set screw in a manner that could deform the conduit wall.
