Product Description

The HALEX 96831 is a plated steel rigid reducing washer designed to center connectors, conduit, and nipples within oversized knockouts in electrical enclosures and panels. The concave construction allows the washer to seat firmly against the knockout opening, creating a stable, flush fit. These washers are used in pairs, with one installed on each side of the box wall, effectively bridging the size gap between a 1-inch connector or conduit and a 1/2-inch knockout. UL listed, the 96831 is a code-acceptable solution for reducing knockout openings in standard electrical boxes, enclosures, and panels. Each pack contains 2 washers.

These reducing washers are suited for residential and commercial electrical installations where conduit, connectors, or nipples must be secured in knockouts larger than the fitting being used. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize the panel or enclosure fully before working inside any electrical box. Do not use a single washer in place of a pair, as the concave design requires both sides to properly center and retain the fitting.
