The HALEX 91332 is a steel reducing conduit bushing designed to step down a 1-inch rigid threaded conduit entry to a 3/4-inch conduit connection. This fitting allows electricians to join two sections of rigid metal conduit of different trade sizes within a single raceway run or at a box entry. Constructed from steel and UL listed, the 91332 delivers reliable mechanical performance in standard rigid conduit installations. At 0.079 pounds, it is a compact, single-piece fitting suited for both new construction and retrofit work.
This reducing bushing is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations wherever a conduit size transition is required at a threaded entry point. It is commonly installed at enclosure knockouts, junction boxes, and conduit bodies where the incoming conduit trade size does not match the threaded opening. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical contractors are the typical installers.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with standard 1-inch to 3/4-inch rigid threaded metal conduit systems in UL-listed electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out all circuits before working on any conduit system or enclosure. Thread the bushing fully into the conduit entry by hand, then tighten with the appropriate conduit wrench to ensure a secure mechanical connection. Do not over-tighten, as this may damage the threads on the enclosure or conduit body.
