The HALEX 90702 is a 3/4-inch steel conduit nipple designed for use with rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). It serves as a short threaded connector for coupling electrical boxes, enclosures, and housings through standard knockout openings. The smooth interior finish reduces friction during wire pulling, making it a practical choice for conduit runs where a clean, low-resistance path matters. Built from durable steel, it is UL Listed and suited for standard electrical installation work performed by licensed electricians.
This nipple is commonly used in commercial and residential electrical installations where rigid or IMC conduit terminates at a junction box, panel enclosure, or other metal housing. It fits through standard 3/4-inch knockouts and can also function as a knockout bushing when paired with a Series 150 locknut. Electricians use it in both new construction and retrofit scenarios where a short conduit section is needed between two connection points.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for 3/4-inch rigid metal conduit and IMC systems. Compatible for use with Series 150 locknuts when installed as a knockout bushing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits before working in any electrical enclosure or panel. Hand-tighten the nipple into the knockout, then secure with appropriate locknuts on each side of the enclosure wall. Avoid over-torquing threaded connections, which can damage box knockouts or thread engagement.
