The HALEX 90513 is a clamp-type electrical box connector designed for securing flexible metal conduit or armored cable at a knockout entry point on an electrical enclosure. Constructed from die-cast zinc, it delivers solid mechanical clamping force and corrosion resistance suitable for standard indoor electrical installations. The 90513 accepts a 1-inch trade-size opening and is listed by UL, confirming it meets recognized safety and performance standards. Electricians and electrical contractors use this fitting as a reliable, code-compliant method of terminating conduit runs at junction boxes, panel enclosures, and device boxes.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial wiring applications where a secure, vibration-resistant conduit termination is required. It is installed at the box knockout, with the clamp mechanism tightening down on the conduit or cable jacket to maintain both a mechanical and electrical connection. The 1-inch trade size makes it appropriate for common branch-circuit and feeder conduit runs at that knockout diameter. It is sold in a pack with a minimum quantity of 6 units per order, making it practical for job-lot purchasing on multi-circuit installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for 1-inch trade-size knockouts on residential and light commercial electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and panel boxes accepting clamp-type box connectors.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit or panel before working at any enclosure. Insert the connector body through the knockout opening, secure the locknut firmly against the enclosure wall, then tighten the clamp screw onto the conduit or cable jacket to maintain a secure mechanical grip. Do not over-tighten the clamp screw to the point of damaging the cable jacket or conduit wall.
