The HALEX 90371 is a 1/2 inch set screw offset EMT conduit connector designed to simplify alignment when terminating electrical metallic tubing at distribution boxes, cabinets, and pull boxes. The offset design shifts the conduit entry point by 3/8 inch, allowing the installer to bring a conduit run flush with a box face without bending the conduit. The body is die-cast zinc construction, offering solid mechanical grip and corrosion resistance in standard interior applications. UL listed. Electricians reach for this connector when a straight connector would leave a gap or cause the conduit to pull away from the enclosure face.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where 1/2 inch EMT terminates at a metallic enclosure. Common scenarios include panel rough-ins, junction box connections, and pull box entries where the raceway run is not perfectly perpendicular to the box surface. The set screw fastening method provides a secure, tool-tightened connection without the need for a locknut on the conduit side. Installation is performed by licensed electricians following NEC requirements for raceway terminations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use connector for 1/2 inch EMT conduit terminations at metallic distribution boxes, cabinets, and pull boxes in residential and light commercial wiring systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits in the enclosure before making conduit terminations. Insert the EMT into the connector body and tighten the set screw with a screwdriver or nut driver until the conduit is held firmly without rotation. Confirm the connector is seated fully into the knockout and secure the locknut on the interior side of the enclosure to maintain electrical continuity of the raceway system.
