The HALEX SCOTT FETZER 23222 is a 3/4 inch electrical metallic tubing (EMT) set screw coupling sold in a 5-pack. It is a concrete-tight fitting used to join two lengths of 3/4 inch EMT conduit end to end in a secure, rigid connection. Constructed from die cast zinc, this coupling is suited for use in exposed or embedded conduit runs. Electricians install these fittings during rough-in and finish wiring on commercial and residential jobs where EMT is the conduit type of choice. The set screw design allows for fast, tool-simple installation without requiring specialized crimping tools.
This coupling is used in standard EMT conduit systems for branch circuit wiring, feeder runs, and general-purpose raceway installations. It is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor applications where a concrete-tight rating is required, such as conduit runs cast into slabs or embedded in masonry. The 5-pack format is suited for jobs that require multiple joints in a single conduit run, reducing the need for multiple supply trips. Package quantity is 10 units per case.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for use with 3/4 inch EMT conduit in residential and commercial electrical raceway systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning conduit assembly. Ensure conduit ends are reamed and free of burrs before seating them into the coupling. Tighten set screws firmly with the appropriate hex key or nut driver to maintain the concrete-tight seal and electrical continuity of the conduit system.
