The HALEX 07012 is a 1-1/4-inch rigid IMC steel conduit nipple designed for use in electrical conduit systems where a short threaded section is needed to connect boxes, enclosures, or housings. Built from durable steel, this nipple is suited for both rigid metal conduit and IMC applications. The smooth interior finish reduces friction during wire pulling, making it a practical choice for electricians working in tight or confined installation points. Its compact form factor and threaded ends allow quick, secure connections without the need for additional fittings in standard knockout applications.
This conduit nipple is used in residential and commercial electrical installations where conduit runs terminate at or pass through enclosure knockouts. It is particularly well suited for coupling conduit to junction boxes, panel enclosures, or other housings. It can also serve as a knockout bushing when paired with a Series No. 150 locknut, adding flexibility to its on-the-job applications. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical contractors are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
Designed for use with 1-1/4-inch rigid metal conduit and IMC conduit systems. Functions as a knockout bushing when used in conjunction with a Series No. 150 locknut.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the work area before installing or adjusting conduit fittings. Thread the nipple into knockout openings by hand first, then tighten with appropriate conduit wrenches to ensure a secure, aligned connection. Avoid over-tightening, which can damage threads or distort the fitting.
