The HAILIANG HL15-460-0235 is a copper reducing tee fitting designed for sweat (solder) connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Sized at 1-1/4 inches on the run inlet by 1 inch on the run outlet by 1 inch on the branch, this fitting allows a controlled reduction in line size while maintaining a full branch takeoff. Machined from copper, it delivers reliable performance in potable water distribution, hydronic heating, and general plumbing rough-in work. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting using standard torch-and-solder techniques in accordance with applicable plumbing codes.
This reducing tee is suited for applications where a main supply line steps down in diameter while also serving a branch line of equal reduced size. Common install scenarios include domestic hot and cold water distribution, radiant and baseboard hydronic loops, and commercial plumbing rough-in where line sizing changes at a junction. The CxCxC end configuration accepts standard copper tubing on all three ports without adapters or transitions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation copper reducing tee for 1-1/4-inch to 1-inch sweat-connection plumbing systems using standard copper tubing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and fully depressurize and drain the line before cutting and fitting. Clean all mating surfaces with emery cloth and apply appropriate flux before soldering. Avoid applying flame directly to the fitting body for extended periods, as overheating can compromise the joint integrity.
