The HAILIANG HL15-460-0223 is a copper reducing tee fitting sized 1-1/4 inches x 1-1/4 inches x 3/4 inches in a CxCxC (sweat) configuration. It connects two full-size 1-1/4-inch run ends to a reduced 3/4-inch branch outlet, allowing a main line to feed a smaller branch line without additional adapters. The fitting is manufactured from copper, making it suitable for potable water, hydronic heating, and general plumbing distribution systems. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters install this type of fitting using standard soldering procedures in both residential and light commercial applications.
This reducing tee is used wherever a copper distribution line needs to step down to a 3/4-inch branch — common in domestic hot and cold water supply systems, baseboard heating loops, and radiant distribution manifolds. The CxCxC end connections accept standard copper tube and require no threading or crimping tools, only a torch and solder. It is well suited to new construction rough-in work as well as repair and retrofit projects where existing copper lines are being extended or reconfigured.
Designed as an OEM-style sweat copper reducing tee for use with standard copper tubing in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line fully before cutting or soldering. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before applying heat, and allow the joint to cool completely before restoring pressure. Do not apply flame directly to the fitting socket after solder has been introduced.
