The HAILIANG HL15-460-0117 is a copper reducing tee fitting designed for sweat (solder) connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems. It provides a three-port branch connection with a reduced center outlet, allowing a 1/2 inch branch to be tapped off a 3/4 inch run. The fitting is manufactured from copper and uses a C x C x C (copper sweat) connection type on all three ports. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction and retrofit work where a smaller-diameter branch line must be split from a full-size supply run.
This reducing tee is suited for domestic water distribution, hydronic heating branch lines, and similar closed-loop copper piping applications. The 3/4 inch run ports maintain full main-line flow capacity while the 1/2 inch branch port steps down to a reduced service line. It fits into standard copper tube systems where the run OD measures 7/8 inches and the branch OD measures 5/8 inches. It is a direct-category replacement in residential and light commercial plumbing assemblies requiring a reducing tee at this size combination.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement reducing tee for standard copper tube plumbing systems using sweat connections at the 3/4 in x 1/2 in x 3/4 in nominal size.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off and drain the supply line fully before cutting in the fitting. Clean and flux all tube ends and fitting sockets thoroughly before soldering to ensure a leak-free joint. Do not apply heat to a fitting while water or pressure is present in the line.
