The HAILIANG HL15-410-0159 is a copper fitting reducer designed to transition from a 1-inch fitting connection to a 3/4-inch sweat (C) connection in copper piping systems. Configured FTG x C, the fitting side slips inside an existing copper fitting or pipe end, while the cup end accepts standard copper tube for soldering. Constructed from copper, this reducer is sized at 1 inch by 3/4 inch nominal, with corresponding OD dimensions of 1-1/8 inches by 7/8 inches. It is a standard component used by plumbers to reduce line size within domestic water distribution, hydronic heating, and light commercial piping systems.
This reducer is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a diameter change is required within a copper sweat system. It is commonly installed at branch takeoffs, equipment connections, and transitions between supply mains and smaller distribution lines. The FTG x C configuration makes it compatible with standard sweat-joining methods used throughout copper tube installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for copper sweat piping systems requiring a reduction from 1-inch to 3/4-inch nominal line size.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and fully depressurize and drain the line before cutting or disassembling any section of pipe. Clean and flux all mating surfaces before soldering, and allow joints to cool completely before restoring pressure. Do not apply heat near combustible materials without proper shielding.
