The HAILIANG HL15-410-0107 is a copper fitting reducer designed to transition between a 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch pipe connection in sweat-type copper systems. It uses a fitting-to-copper (FTG x C) end configuration, meaning one end accepts a copper fitting socket while the other accepts a plain copper tube end. This reducer is made from copper and is intended for use in potable water supply lines, hydronic systems, and other plumbing applications where diameter changes are required in a soldered copper assembly. It is installed by licensed plumbers and experienced pipe fitters working on residential and light commercial systems.
This reducer fits into standard copper tube systems where a branch or main line steps down from 3/4-inch to 1/2-inch service. The FTG x C configuration allows it to be inserted directly into a run of copper pipe without requiring an additional coupling on the fitting-end side. Typical applications include water distribution systems, hydronic heating loops, and domestic hot and cold supply lines where a reducing connection is needed at a tee, valve, or fixture branch.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard copper tube plumbing systems using sweat (solder) joints, compatible with 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch nominal copper tube.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and fully drain the line before cutting or fitting. Clean all tube ends and fitting sockets with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering. Do not apply heat to a fitting while any moisture remains in the line, as steam pressure can cause joint failure.
