The GWS 312893 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1-1/4 inch diameter with a matching 1-1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank and a 0.12 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge. With 7 flutes in a close-pitch, high-helix helical configuration, the tool maintains surface finish quality while managing chip evacuation in deep cuts. Overall length is 7-1/2 inches with a 4-1/8 inch length of cut. The FX3 AlCr-based coating provides thermal and wear resistance suited to hard and abrasive workpiece materials. Installation is performed by machinists using standard end mill holders.
