The GWS 312830 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding machining environments. With a 1-inch cutting diameter, 7 helical flutes, and a 0.09-inch corner radius, this tool delivers smooth surface finishes while protecting edge integrity on difficult workpiece materials. The extra-long configuration features a 4.125-inch length of cut and a 7-inch overall length, making it suitable for deep-pocket and extended-reach applications. The FX3 AlCr coating provides thermal and wear resistance for sustained performance in ferrous and exotic alloy cutting. Shank diameter is 1 inch with an h6 tolerance for precise fitment in standard end mill holders.

This end mill is engineered for finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and cast iron. The close-pitch, 7-flute geometry maximizes feed rates during finishing while the high-helix angle promotes chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces.
