The GWS 121428 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) diameter with a 0.03 inch corner radius, a 5/8 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The 4-flute, single-end geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations on a single tool. Variable index and variable helix angles reduce chatter and improve surface finish at higher feed rates. The straight cylindrical shank measures 3/16 inch in diameter with an h6 tolerance for precise toolholder fitment.

This end mill is suited for machining steel, cast iron, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The corner radius geometry reduces edge chipping and extends tool life compared to sharp-corner end mills, making it a practical choice for shops running production runs on difficult alloys. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry, and the right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Coolant-through is not supported; external coolant or air blast is the appropriate cooling method for this tool.
