The GWS 119337 is a single-end, solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding industrial and machining applications. With a 3/8 inch mill diameter and a 0.015 inch corner radius, it delivers a controlled edge blend that reduces stress concentration at part corners and extends tool life on hard materials. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank toleranced to h6, this end mill seats securely in standard end mill toolholders. It is suited for use by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is engineered for cutting steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, and hard materials. The variable helix and variable index geometry help reduce harmonic chatter during aggressive cuts, making it effective in high-speed machining centers and manual mills alike. It is a centercutting design, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece. The Series 1030 designation places it in a standard-reach, straight-shank family intended for use with conventional end mill toolholders.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders. Primary workpiece materials include steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary workpiece material compatibility includes stainless steel.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked or e-stop state. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or wear before each use. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool, so verify that flood or mist coolant delivery is directed at the cutting zone externally.
