The GWS 119333 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. Built to a 1/8 inch diameter with a 0.005 inch corner radius and four flutes, it delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single tool. The submicron carbide grade provides the hardness and edge retention needed when cutting steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. A 1/2 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it well-suited for tight-clearance pockets and contoured profiles where reach and rigidity are equally important.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where precise corner geometry and smooth surface finish are required. It is suited for job shops, tool rooms, and production environments cutting ferrous metals, hard alloys, and difficult-to-machine materials. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry, and the right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are compatible with standard spindle configurations. It mounts in standard end mill toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance. Primary workpiece material compatibility includes steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary compatibility includes stainless steel.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder collet to the manufacturer-recommended engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as carbide tooling can fracture if run with damaged geometry. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for the workpiece material and depth of cut before initiating the program cycle.
