The GWS 118024 is a three-flute solid carbide square end mill from the Armory series, designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It has a 0.3 inch cutting diameter and a 0.75 inch length of cut, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The substrate is submicron-grade carbide, which supports edge sharpness and wear resistance at higher feed rates. The bright/uncoated finish keeps the tool ready to use out of the box without additional prep. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production environments.

The GWS 118024 is used in vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills. Its 37-degree right-hand helix and right-hand cutting direction produce smooth chip evacuation during climb and conventional milling passes. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the tool from the holder. Ensure the collet bore is clean and free of chips before tightening to the manufacturer specification of the tool holder being used. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation before beginning a cut - excessive runout shortens tool life and reduces surface finish quality.
