The GUNK EBGEL is an aerosol engine cleaner and degreaser formulated for heavy-duty grease removal on automotive and mechanical engines. Delivered in a 15 oz aerosol can, it uses a hydrocarbon fluid base with a gel-cling action that holds the formula against vertical and angled surfaces long enough for deep penetration. This design makes it effective on baked-on grease and carbon deposits that accumulate on older or hotter-running engines. No scrubbing is required — the product rinses clean with water after a soak period. It is 50 State Compliant with a VOC content of 9.3 percent, making it legal for use across all U.S. markets. Installed and used by automotive technicians and fleet maintenance professionals.
This degreaser is suited for use on gasoline and diesel engine exteriors, engine bays, valve covers, intake manifolds, and other engine compartment surfaces where grease and oil accumulation is present. It is marketed as the most aggressive formulation in the GUNK lineup, targeting older engines and high-temperature operating environments where conventional degreasers may underperform. The aerosol delivery provides even spray coverage across complex surface geometries common in engine bay applications.
Designed for use on automotive and mechanical engine exteriors and engine bay components where grease, oil, and carbon deposits require removal.
This product is flammable — keep away from open flames, sparks, and hot surfaces during application. Allow the engine to cool before applying. Ensure the work area is well ventilated. Follow all applicable safety data sheet guidelines for handling and disposal of aerosol products.
