The GUHRING 9199560031700 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. This single-end tool features a 0.125-inch cutting diameter, a 0.375-inch length of cut, and a 1.5-inch overall length with a 0.125-inch straight cylindrical shank. Four right-hand helical flutes at a 30-degree helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The FIREX coating delivers elevated thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in high-speed and hard-material operations. Centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry as well as standard peripheral and slot milling.
This end mill is suited for milling cast iron, stainless steel, and carbon and alloy steels, covering primary workpiece material codes K, M, and P. It is also rated for secondary material codes N and S, giving it range across non-ferrous metals and superalloys.
