The GUHRING 9085200079400 is a solid carbide screw machine length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in titanium alloy and similarly demanding workpiece materials. Built to Series 8520 specifications and conforming to DIN 6537 K, this bit features a 140-degree split point (HF point type) with web thinning to reduce thrust and improve chip evacuation at entry. The 5/16 inch (0.3126 inch) diameter shank is straight-cylindrical at 8 mm, and the overall length measures 79 mm. Coolant-through capability supports extended tool life in high-heat applications. Two spiral flutes with two margins provide stable cutting action. This is a precision tool intended for installation by machinists and metalworking tradespeople working in production or maintenance environments.
This bit is suited for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machine setups where short, rigid tooling is required.
