The GUHRING 9067590127040 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 1/2 inch diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 0.031 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The 4-flute, variable helix geometry promotes smooth chip evacuation and minimizes chatter during both roughing and finishing passes. A nano-Si coating improves wear resistance and surface lubricity. This tool is sized with a 1/2 inch Weldon flat shank and measures 3.5 inches overall length, making it compatible with standard end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
This end mill is suited for shops working with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials. It handles both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool, reducing changeovers on production runs. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional spindle setups. Machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, aerospace suppliers, and general metalworking facilities will find it applicable across a wide range of workpiece materials. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive retention in end mill holders, which is particularly valuable during aggressive cuts in tough alloys.
Designed for use with standard end mill holders. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials. Falls within GUHRING Series 6759 RF100 product family.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before mounting. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the holder and secure the set screw against the flat to prevent axial pullout. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, particularly when working with tight-tolerance corner radius applications.
