The GUHRING 9067570111100 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. It carries a 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) diameter, a 7/8 inch length of cut, and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0040 inch chamfer width. The TiAlSiN (nano-Si) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and edge hardness suited to interrupted cuts and sustained tool engagement. This is a single-end, center-cutting tool with a variable helix and right-hand flute direction, ground from ultra-fine micrograin carbide stock. It is installed by machinists and CNC toolroom technicians on vertical and horizontal milling machines.
The 9067570111100 is built for Series 6757 applications targeting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium as primary workpiece materials, with non-ferrous metals as secondary workpiece materials. Typical operations include shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill milling, plunging, and recessing. The straight-cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders. The 2-3/4 inch overall length and regular-length flute geometry make it a practical choice for general-purpose pocketing and profile work where a chamfered corner break is required at the tool tip.
Designed for use in steel (P), stainless steel (M), cast iron (K), superalloys and titanium (S), and non-ferrous metals (N) per ISO material classification. Fits standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 7/16 inch shank diameter with h6 tolerance. Part of the GUHRING Series 6757 corner chamfer end mill family.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Confirm the machine spindle and toolholder bore are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify runout at the toolholder nose before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide end mills. Follow the machine tool manufacturer's clamping torque recommendations for the toolholder style in use; do not use a worn or undersized collet with this shank tolerance class.
