The GUHRING 9055190051600 is a cobalt jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in a wide range of metallic materials. Built to DIN 338 standards, this bit features a titanium nitride (TiN) coating over an M35 cobalt steel body, delivering extended wear resistance and heat tolerance compared to standard HSS tooling. The four facet split point geometry reduces walking at startup and lowers thrust force during penetration. At 13/64 inch (0.2031 inch) diameter with a 118-degree point angle and right-hand spiral flute, it suits machinists and metalworking fabricators who need consistent hole quality in production or maintenance environments.
This drill bit is suited for drilling aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and general-purpose ferrous materials in both shop and field applications. The straight-cylindrical shank accepts standard drill chucks without requiring a special holder. With a flute length of 52 millimeters and a maximum drilling depth of 1.743 inches (44.26 millimeters), it handles typical jobber-depth applications on drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills. The Series 5519 designation places it within GUHRING's standard jobber drill family.
Designed as a DIN 338 jobber length replacement drill bit compatible with standard straight-shank drill chucks on drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills accepting 13/64 inch or 5.16 mm shank diameters. Rated for primary workpiece material codes K, M, N, and P, covering aluminum, non-ferrous metals, non-metals, and steel groups per ISO material classification.
Installation and use should be performed by machinists or qualified metalworking technicians familiar with rotating tooling safety. Secure the shank fully in a properly rated drill chuck and verify chuck runout before use. Disconnect power to the machine before installing or removing the bit. Do not exceed the recommended maximum drilling depth of 1.743 inches without withdrawing to clear chips, as packing can cause bit breakage or workpiece damage.
