The GUHRING 9055190049200 is a cobalt jobber length drill bit designed for consistent, accurate hole-making in a range of metal and non-metal workpieces. Built to DIN 338 standards, it measures 0.1935 inches (wire size 10) in diameter with an overall length of 86 mm and a flute length of 52 mm. The M35 cobalt steel construction is paired with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating to extend cutting life and resist heat buildup during high-speed drilling. A four-facet split point and web-thinned geometry reduce walking at entry and lower thrust requirements, making it a reliable choice for production and maintenance drilling work.
This drill bit is suited for machining aluminum, steel, stainless, and other materials covered by DIN material codes K, M, N, and P. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 4.92 mm diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collets. It is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills where a jobber-length bit is specified. The maximum drilling depth is 44.62 mm, and the 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports chip evacuation in moderate-depth holes. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance professionals regularly use this type of bit for general metalworking applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement jobber length drill bit conforming to DIN 338 standards, suitable for use in standard drill chucks and collets accepting a 4.92 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with drilling operations and applicable shop safety standards. Ensure the drill chuck is fully tightened and the workpiece is securely fixtured before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use, and replace the bit when cutting performance degrades to avoid workpiece damage or bit breakage. No coolant-through capability is present on this bit, so external coolant or cutting fluid should be applied as required by the workpiece material.
