The GUHRING 9055190037300 is a cobalt steel jobber-length drill bit in wire gauge size No. 26, equivalent to 0.1470 inches in diameter. Built to DIN 338 standards, it features an M35 cobalt grade steel construction with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating for extended tool life in abrasive cutting environments. The 118-degree, 4-facet point geometry with web thinning promotes accurate starting and reduces thrust force at entry. With a 2-flute regular spiral configuration and straight cylindrical shank, this drill is suited for use in standard drill chucks on both manual and CNC equipment. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die shops, and production drilling operations are the primary users of this Series 5519 tool.
This drill is designed for use on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and general-purpose ferrous materials, consistent with its primary workpiece material codes K, M, N, and P. The overall length is 70 millimeters with a flute length of 39 millimeters, giving a maximum drilling depth of 33.41 millimeters (1.315 inches). The shank diameter is 3.73 millimeters and shank length is 31 millimeters. It is packaged as a single unit and is a practical fit for jobber-length drilling operations in light manufacturing, maintenance, and fabrication environments where consistent hole quality in a No. 26 size is required.
Designed as a DIN 338 Series 5519 jobber drill for use in standard straight-shank drill chucks. Primary workpiece material codes K, M, N, and P cover aluminum, non-ferrous, general steel, and stainless steel classifications per the supplier attribute data. No coolant-through capability; dry or external coolant application only.
Installation of this drill bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or tool operator familiar with proper chuck torque and runout tolerances. Inspect the shank and chuck bore for contamination before seating the tool to prevent runout that can break small-diameter drills. Do not exceed the maximum drilling depth of 33.41 millimeters in a single pass without peck drilling to clear chips. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material before engaging the cut.
