The GUHRING 9055190032600 is a cobalt jobber length twist drill bit sized to No. 30 wire gauge (0.1285 inches) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating. Built to DIN 338 standards from M35 cobalt high-speed steel, this bit is engineered for demanding production drilling where tool life and hole accuracy matter. The 118-degree four-facet split point with web thinning reduces entry thrust and centers the bit without a pilot hole. With a 65 mm overall length and a 2-flute regular spiral design, it delivers efficient chip evacuation in a compact jobber-length format suitable for hand drills, drill presses, and machining centers.
This drill bit is designed for use in metalworking and general machining applications, with a primary workpiece material rating covering aluminum, stainless steel, and steel alloys (material codes K, M, N, and P). The straight-cylindrical shank at 3.26 mm diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks. A maximum drilling depth of 1.225 inches (31.11 mm) and a 36 mm flute length make it well suited for through-holes and blind holes in sheet metal, structural components, and fabricated parts encountered in aerospace, automotive, and general manufacturing environments. Each unit is sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement drill bit conforming to DIN 338 specifications, compatible with standard drill chucks and toolholding equipment accepting a 3.26 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or trade professionals familiar with rotating cutting tools and applicable shop safety practices. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank fully in a properly rated drill chuck before operation, and verify that spindle speed is set appropriately for the workpiece material and bit diameter. Inspect the cutting edges and TiN coating before each use and remove the bit from service if chipping or coating wear is evident. Always wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece against rotation before drilling.
