Built to DIN 6537L specification, it features a 140-degree split point (SU type) with web thinning for reduced thrust and cleaner entry. The FIREX coating adds thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The submicron carbide grade provides rigidity and edge retention that standard HSS tooling cannot match. A straight-cylindrical shank measuring 10 mm in diameter ensures secure chuck retention on most standard setups. This bit is suited for machinists, tool-and-die shops, and CNC operators working in production or precision environments.

This drill bit is used in applications requiring tight-tolerance hole making in materials such as steel alloys, cast iron, and stainless steel.
