Built to DIN 6537L standards, it features a 140-degree split point (SU-type) with web thinning for self-centering entry and reduced thrust. The FIREX coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting cast iron and steel. The submicron carbide grade and regular spiral flute geometry deliver consistent chip evacuation in production environments. At 74.01 mm overall length with a 36.01 mm flute length, this bit fits standard tool holders and CNC machining centers. This drill bit is suited for production and job-shop applications where precision hole quality in ferrous metals is required. Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank in a properly sized ER collet or drill chuck with adequate clamping force before operation; never run a loose or improperly seated tool. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against published carbide tooling parameters for the workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use, as carbide tooling can fracture if run in a worn or chipped state.
