The GUHRING 9055120093000 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in ferrous metals including cast iron and steel. The 9.30 mm cutting diameter is ground to an m7 tolerance, and the 140-degree facet point geometry promotes self-centering entry without a center punch in many applications. Coolant-through capability delivers cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, reducing heat buildup and extending tool life in production drilling environments. The web-thinned geometry lowers thrust force and improves chip evacuation. This drill is built to DIN 6535 standards and is suited for CNC machining centers and manual machine tools operated by machinists and toolroom professionals.
The 9055120093000 is engineered for right-hand cutting in cast iron and steel workpieces, making it a standard choice for job shop, production, and maintenance machining operations. The 7xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 95.00 mm flute length accommodate moderately deep holes up to 81.05 mm in a single pass where through-coolant pressure is maintained. The straight cylindrical shank at 10 mm diameter and 40 mm shank length fits standard collet chucks, Weldon holders, and drill chucks commonly found in vertical machining centers and drill presses.
Designed as an OEM-specification solid carbide jobber drill for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and other rotating-spindle machine tools equipped with toolholders accepting a 10 mm straight cylindrical shank per DIN 6535.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per applicable machine safety procedures. Ensure the shank seating surface and collet or chuck bore are clean and free of chips before clamping. Solid carbide drills are brittle compared to HSS tooling and should not be used in setups with excessive runout or in hand-held drilling applications. Through-coolant supply pressure should be confirmed before initiating production drilling cycles to prevent premature tool wear.
